    Was anyone in there?

there was some nice characters in last night. the craziness during the rebuy period was real.

came about 12th. got moved to table 1 after the rebuy period and i think i got 25o about 6 times in 20 hands...the other 15 were no better.

best hand i got all night was AK twice. split pot on an all in Vs AQ when the board 2 paired. and took down another.

Did get poket 5s preflop with 2 all ins before me. felt i couldnt make the call as i was midstacked. another player called after i folded. low and behold the miracle flop of 55x on the board.

Been playing online for years and just started playing live. I dont know why I was shaking like a leave when i have a good hand (im probably the easiest player ever to read.), but i stole blinds twice on pure bluffs and my heart rate didnt increase a bit.
anyone got any tips to help me with my nerves? I just reckon play live more and more to help.

Who is this guy called lambchop? he was a chinese fellow but wqs quite an entertaining charachter.

    What game is on tonight?

theres a €150 freezeout tonight. Damn so tempting.. There's also a €150 + €100 rebuy event on tonight in the merrion with prizes for the ladbrokes poker cruise. Each prize is a pair of tickets + €1000 spending money. They're having €17 supersats this afternoon from 2 i think.

Some tragic play last night too. I got dogged all through the rebuy period. AQs on the button, all limp, I raise and get re-raised by Mr Loose. Instant call for me. He turns over 97o. Hits a 9
I push with 99 on the button, get called by the BB with QJo(!) Hits his Q

Worst play of the night goes the guy who eventually took two of us out after the break. Would call on any kind of draw and built up quite a stack after hitting his inside straight draw twice.

I'm on the SB with JJ, UTG limped, everyone else folds. I raise to 5xBB. BB (Mr Inside Straight Draw) calls, UTG calls (I dodged his Aces earlier, so I feel he is not as strong here)
    Flop 10h 5h 7x
I'm thinking JJ is good here and raise to 10xBB
    Villain flat calls (huh?)
BB moves all-in for about 5K
I'm in a world of pain with about 850 left - I feel the Jacks are good but am seriously concerned about a flopped set. I call for the rest of my chips given whats in the pot now. I'm sure BB is folding here. He calls! I turn over, UTG has 99 (phew!) and Villain turns over 68o!!!!! Nice open ender but what the hell is he doing calling pre-flop and then calling for 70% of his chips on a draw with a flush draw out there and two obviously strong hands already committed to the pot.

Of course he hits one of his 8 outs and the 5-1 dog wins a monster! Two of us out.

Six outs if I'm not reading this wrong MadsL (two 9s are in utg+1's hand). Just to help ease your pain you understand :p;) Of course he could have gone runner runner on your ass either....

ahhh yes i was at your table .....=

last night weent through a period of 2 levels after the break and i dont think i saw a card above an 8....got moved tables after the break and managed to steal blinds and go all in with AKo to be called by J8s....luckily they held up....table broke up and i got moved to table 1.....wish i had called with my pocket 5's with two all ins, i fold, SB calls....and the other 2 fives hit the board.

time to put plan B into action next time.

6 outs, aye. I was counting what he knew when he made the call, not the actual outs.

I was thankful to get back to the Fitz game last night and make the final table in the €50 game. Sadly I blew up, misread a 'steal attempt' and went out in 7th :(

Take a left off Grafton St. on to South Anne St. then take what (I think) is the next right. Anne's Lane it's called (I think again).
