I'm looking for an external usb TV Tuner card that I can connect my analogue camcorder to and put stuff onto dvd's, also to watch sky and maybe the xbox if its possible. I haven't a clue what to look so if someone could recommend one I'd appreciate it. My laptop spec is 1.53 ghz AMD Athlon, with 1 gig of memory. Is this enough for the TV turner to work properly?
    Thanks

You won't be able to play X-box - there is about a one second delay from input to output on the PC. Not much use for playing games.

I have the Hauppauge USB2 PVR, can't fault it, though the software that comes with it is crap. It should work fine on your system.

Would it be cheaper to buy online or would it be handier to just go to PC world or somewhere?
