More channels FTA on december 1?

November 1 was a good day for satellite viewers. All ITV channels went FTA.

On this forum it was suggested that more channels could go FTA in the near future... Can we expect something nice on December 1??

Erm, no other channels are known to be wanting to go FTA with contracts that end before 2008 or so. November 1st was just the date when ITV's rolling encryption contract ended

There have been more channels launched FTA since November 1st, including Rapture and Playboy One, and there'll be more launched before the end of the year. But nothing big is planned or even rumoured.

ITV going free to air was a good day,now i have to look at all the extra crap about the x factor and im a celeb s*^t,anyone know how to block these channels?

are you using a sky box?
if you already have a sub, do the block all adult channels then you will need your pin to enter other channels, so whoever doesnt know the pin wont be able to watch.

i have to endure them cause i share the tv with others,yes its on skydigital but if i do block them like that then they will know that i have done it and they also know how to get them back,women are clever when they want to be.

tell ITV viewer to buy a FTA box for her ITV crap. or turn it for your advantage. it could be a useful christmas present from you but have advantages for both you and her

I like your way of thinking man,i would buy her an extra box but i dont really like her,she would know there was something up if i bought her a present
