    Hey all,

Ive been looking on ebay for guitars and stumbled upon these guitars that look really cool and are extremely cheap.

You'd pick up one of these for probably under a €100 delivered to ireland.

Im thinking for this price its probably junk but they have over 7200 positive feedback which speaks for itself. (and NO negative!!)

Any one have one or heard anythin about these??

    thanks a lot

    I have one!

I got it during the summer because I had only 1 5-string bass and needed some sort of backup, and got it for €170 inc p&p (it arrived 2 days after the auction ended). I got the translucent acrylic blue 5-string bass. It doesnt feel expensive, thats for sure. It weighs a ton, and the bit between the headstock and neck (cant remember the name of it so ill call it the 0th fret :) ) is a bit sharp and can hurt my left-hand index finger if i drop a few frets carelessly while playing. And the strings with it are rubbish.

But on a positive note, it actually has a pretty damn nice tone, despite the lack of wood, it looks impressive, and unlike most other budget guitars or basses, it holds its tuning.

If youre looking for a guitar to replace your current one, i dont recommend it, but for someone like me who needed a backup, it was perfect.

think im gonna risk it for a biscuit and just buy one.

Its only a hundred quid so its not a life threatening decision and they do look **** cool. (in the picture anyway :) )

il let you know what its like

You might also want to check Stellar Guitars. I found out about them from a book on painting guitars and checked out a few online reviews and apparently they are great. Supposedly your man sells them cheap off ebay while he is looking for a distribution deal for the guitars (Ive heard the RRP will be around 800 dollars, but dont hold me to that.) Plus you also get a hard case! Think I might buy one as a project guitar.
