VHI Question

    Iv just completed an application form for the VHI (first time member) Iv opted for the Silver Cover and its €109 a year... Im just wondering do I pay monthly or weekley or what.. Also what am I covered for with this.. i.e if I get a smack of a truck tomorrow is it going to cover all my hospital bills or just certain ones (if I survived that is) ;)

    I know its somewhere on the website but Id like to hear other members advice... Cheers

    I’m first plan plus and pay it through my job. Think its about €550 a year Didn’t you ask all these questions or read up on it before you signed a contract???

    You should have asked these questions first??

    i pay monthly direct debit about €35. im on first plan with options.

    Im not sure about your plan it seems very basic to me, but on my one obviously any conditions you get after being joined with VHI for 6 months you would be covered for 'new conditions, accidents' etc.

    I had to go to hospital for treatment & i was only with them for 5 months & they covered everything which was a great help to me.

    Make sure you ring them back & ask all these questions about your policy!!
