Do I need F-Spaced for a Wilkinson trem?

The Wilkinson string spacing seems to be about 54mm and standard Gibson humbucker spacing is 48mm, so I reckon F spaced (53mm is the way to go). It's not entirely crucial though, a standard humbucker generally does a bang up job with a wider string spacing. They're usually not so far apart that the string doesn't get pickup up properly.

Alright, but there's no price difference so, I'll go for F Spaced to be on the safe side of things. ;)

Yea F spacing, Definitly for the bridge pickup anyways, Usually in guitars with trems need F spaced pickups, Definitly in teh bridge, the neck isnt as important but id recomend it....

Neck seems a moot point, as Duncans don't seem to come F Spaced, or "Trembucker" for neck pickups. I'm ordering a JB Trembucker for Bridge, and standard 59 neck pickup. Should sound very good in the Tokai! :v:

While you're at it, replace the pots and switch and the rest of the wiring. You will notice a difference.

Some put some locking tuners on it. And a Graphite Nut.

Oh I fully plan to get some decent high quality pots alright... What's recommended? Seems they have PRS pots on Thomann. That should be the business alright. ;)

And yes, a new nut, probably graphite, and some locking tuners are going to be in order next. Then hopefully, at some stage I'll get me the Piezo trem? Maybe, but even if I don't, I'm going to turn this Tokai into one outstanding guitar altogether.

Do not pay €15 for PRS pots! There is absolutely no point. You're just paying for the name tbh. CTS pots is where it's at.

Fair enough so, got a link to these CTS pots?
