Anyone know of a good free venue for a 30th Birthday Party in january. I know some Pubs don;t charge you to rent a room.

    Any suggestions appreciated

    Cheers

There's an upstairs room in Havana which can be booked and is quite cool (www.havana.ie).

All depends how many people you're expecting though !

Region > East > Dublin City forum tbh

You could try www.dublinpubscene.com, they might have something about it there. Or just use that site and ring around different pubs to find out.

I am trying to arrange my 10 year school reunion so am also looking for suggestions for venues. 60-80 people. Looking for a separate room as opposed to just a space reserved at the back of a pub. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I recommend The Barge, it's across from the Hilton Hotel by the canal - they don't charge, and it's good for early twenties to early forties - it doesn't disapoint! Also, if you and a few close mates want a bite to eat before everyone comes, they do lovely food!
