    Hi.

Anybody know an exhaust crowd who might be able/interested in fitting an exhast to a 69 merc. Mine gave up over the weekend. did a repair job in the summer but things are too bad now.

The exhaust people, DC exhast etc..seem to only stock to 1980, not suprising. Know I can get it done in Terry Jacksons but I think with exhausts it does not need an expensive mechanic. I could source the exhaust without a problem but need somebosy interested enough to fit. Has anybody any advice ?

I bought my exhaust and had Qwik Fit install it ! Maybe if you ask the same they'll oblige. They are probably worried that the order would come in wrong so if you tell them you will source the parts and be responsible for that they would most likely accept that !

In case it's useful, I bought a complete stainless exhaust system including downpipes from PD Gough's in the UK. The cost difference between stainless and mild steel was about 20%, and the fit was flawless. The lifetime guarantee is handy too.

have it in with a crowd, ACE, in sandyford, they seem keen and lots of calls checking I am clear whats needed. Have to pick it up later on they are keen on the business which is sometimes a major hurdle.

will let you know how it goes.
