All in all, the night was a great success from the Cue Clubs point of view.
Unfortunately, some people could not be accomadated as we had set a limit of 70 players and we stuck rigidly to that figure.
First three blind levels were 20 mins with all further blind levels having a 25 min duration. tournament play started at 8.15 and the final hand was dealt at 4.15am.We had promised an estimated prize pool of 5,000 but it exceeded our expectations with a prize pool of 8,100 euro.
This tournament will be a permanent fixture on our callender and will be held on the last Friday of every month.

Have to say well done Connie on an excellent tournament. Fair structure, good dealers (didn't hear of any dispute at all, TD had an easy night), transparency re prize fund and a nice touch at the break with the snacks. Only drawback for me was being completely card dead all night and with the standard down here still on the low side stealing or making any sort of move is a big no no. On the table I was on, they were calling all the way with any part of the board or any draw. Pot odds was an alien concept, which is great when you can get something to get paid off with!

Some wild men there - you must have sold more booze in one night than in all the rest of the time you've been open!:D

Looking forward to better luck next month!

    connie,

will that tourney be on Friday 30th Dec ? will be down home for new year and might go out with a few mates ? Can you preregister ?

    Thanks

Yes I have to agree .well run. good structure. As most of the players have not played in any or any well organised tourney, you have to expect poor play.
For some the fact they played in the celtic poker tour which turns into an all in fest, they felt they would have to play the same way but with time the game will improve

Connie, do you have a website with tourney details ? Or at least are you going to provide the details to another website like antesup ?
