right ... I'm tossing and turning in bed. Can't sleep cause me head is racing! All about nothing and everything.

I just want to sleep! Long busy week ahead!

Anyone else suffer with this? How do you manage to turn your head off and get to sleep?

Put the pillow on your face. Nod off in no time.

    Alternatively, switch off the laptop.

    [emotional rant removed]

For you I would suggest counting sheep, but that's boring. How about counting Eddie Hobbs jumping over a calculator or rhyming things with Hoff.

I have a box of sleeping pills but shamefully i don't use them for trying to fall asleep. it's a problem i have. You could get a prescription, they're effective.

yeah, i got them to fall asleep and they just took over. Next thing I know they're controlling everything. It's a funny story, I'll tell you some time!

ever try going for a short walk before bedtime?

Crazy in't? I think of everything! From similar stuff to the match i was playing Saturday. The 'what if' syndromes on top of everything else!

Wish I could just take my head of, put it on the bedside table for the night, wake up and put it back on!

What I do is write down what is on my mind or what you are worried about. Usually works for me. I havn't been having the best sleep these days either

Might try that. Heard someone say that b4. I'd have to burn them though. Jeez imagine if someone got a hold of them?
But i'd like to keep them too and look back on them in a year and se how much madder i've got

I always find reading helps me. It takes your mind off those things running through your head until you fall asleep. Obviously make sure you're not drinking anything with stimulants in it.

i heard that breathing in and holding it for 10 seconds is a sure fire way to nod off. repeat it ten times. it works for me. its supposed to relax all the muscles in your body and makes it easier to fall asleep

Knock yourself out in a fun way. Drink some Guinness, for example, or get a friend to beat you up.

Try the good old fashioned grannys kitchen method and turn the heat up to roughly the equivilent of the suns core.

Should nod off within minutes :D
