Case for 17" laptop

I recently purchased a Dell Inspiron 9300 with the 17" screen and am having trouble finding a good case to fit it in. The thing is I want the backpack style case (as opposed to briefcase style) and the choice seems to be very limited. So far I've identified this particular bag as an option, but unfortunately they only ship within the UK:

    http://www.ebags.co.uk/samsonite/350_series_sahora_saho_backpack_expandable/product_detail/index.cfm?modelid=49643

Does anyone know where I could get this, or an equivalent, here? (either Cork or Dublin, I'm in both regularly)

Also, I think I saw a JanSport bag for 17" laptops in the Laptop Shop in St. Stephen's Green Centre... anyone know anything about these?

Did you check Elara? They have some nice if not expensive ones.

I got a 17" bag in peats and I think they do also them in Argos. Yeah I saw those Jansport bags a while ago, but i'm not sure if they are made for 17". Dell themselves do the Targus backpack, check them out.

I have the Jansport backpack for my i9300, cost a bomb (€120)
At first the laptop barely fitted in but now its kind of streched it into shape, its a big bag and I can fit everything else into it like power supply, books, spare battery etc
Its well protected aswell and the bag itself has a 30 year guarantee so that works out as €4 a year - not bad imo

I went back to the Laptop Shop and couldn't fit my beast of a machine in the JanSport (shoulder) bag, even though it said suitable for 17" on the label. Almost ended up buying another brand which I can't recall the name of (logo is a little stick man) but when I found out it was €135 I said I didn't really want to pay that much, especially since it didn't even look good. Then one of the assistants produced a nice Kensington backpack into which it fitted, but only just. Cost me €70... not too bad.

On a side note, is it just me or are the staff in there particularly grumpy and unhelpful? It's always uncomfortably warm in there as well... maybe that's why they're so tetchy.

I have this and it works a treat

If you log into the UK website, you can have it sent to anywhere in Ireland for free! Should only be about €45
