Mine is Nick Abbot who was on the original Virgin line up in the early 90's and he then was on LBC and Real Radio.

Nick abbot was quite funny, God only knows how many times he got into trouble with the radio authority, There was another guy on TalkSport (then known as Talk Radio UK) called Caesar the Geezer. equally controversial.

At present I would be partial to a bir of Mike Molloy on Air America

I would have agreed with Nick Abbot, but in recent years he's gone to hell. I actually dislike him how. He's a stereotypical country guy come city metropolitan guy, who things their opinions are superior. For me he went from best presenter ever to worst ever in a few years since Brexit. He's a fraud, had no particular insight into anything at all, just reads The Guardian, and everyone's opinion is as valid as his and often much more interesting.

He thinks 'Woke' is about ppl caring about the rights of minorities and how could that be a bad thing. You'd think he would be the guy to satirically rubbish this new Woke movement but instead he supports it. I thought he would be the last person to support it. Nick Abbot is Woke. Who'd have thunk it. How disappointing.

I think Sarah McInerney is a contender. Loved the interview she did with the CEO of Ryanair. She took no ****.

Nice list Satnav... I would also add John Clarke, in his early Nova days in particular. He defined what a radio DJ should be. Check out the interview in this extract from Miles Johnson's Irish Era documentary series where John talks about Nova while live on air (T 24:55) - a master class in control, both in terms of his delivery and his use of the equipment, absolutely relaxed and natural.

Love listening to John Creedon. Excellent selection of tunes and a nice, easy feeling. Great for driving late.

John Creedon fan here. Listen to his show most nights and love his soft Cork accent and the way he rambles off topic now and again.
