Well some of you might who were here during cheltenham might remember a horse called Beautiful Vision that my father has a share in, he ran in the champion bumper. Well he is running at wexford tomorrow/today at 1:00. I have been told to back it so i am on, i am just forwarding the information because we are all friends here!! He won his last race, a maiden hurdle at limerick by 8 lengths, the form wasnt franked by the fact the 2nd fav that day fell at the first, I have still backed him for the win, he is expected to go close, so back at your will. Opposing opinions accepted! Good Luck.
(I posted so late to protect the price.)

It would be unlikely to say the least that the son of an owner would post a 'tip' on a horse racing forum. Most people who do this are also laying it off on Betfair as they know it is not going to win. Im not backing it.

It is 7/4 favourite. Fair play to you if this horse wins, your a decent bloke, but if this horse is just out for the run you can expect quite a bit of flack.

Bset of Luck to anyone who has backed it.

Finnpark ............ I had to do a double-take on reading your above post!!!

Do you realise you have made an unwarranted attack on the thread-starters integrity. You have just accused the guy of cheating, sharp-practice and illegal betting (an owner laying a horse that will be prevented from winning).

Healio on here has previously posted up a few tips ............. all of which to my memory were triers. Fair play to him is what I say for having the bottle to go public with a tip -- I don't have the courage to do similar knowing the slagging one can leave oneself open to.

It's only a tip the bloke has posted up. We are free to take them or leave them -- but to rubbish the bloke, and question his motivation and character is going too far IMHO.

    Hi,

Please don't take it as an attack - any tip is only advice and it is up to the rest to either take the advice or not. Also, I didn't accuse him of anything - I said that it would be unlikely and that Im not willing to take the risk. He asked for other opinions.

If that horse is out to win then he is a decent man. I encourage the posting of tips. I just find this particular tip to be under very strange circumstances indeed.

I still think a lot of this goes on - people laying off a horse, so that is why Im cautious.

It is nothing personal, just an opinion.

    Goodluck,
    Finnpark.

i dont beleive in a 7/4 tip unless its a banker. anybody can tip a 7/4 favourate but thats just my opinion.i like seeing people post up tips for a 20/1 shot etc. as you wouldnt have to put a **** load of money on him and if he does win its happy days.

Keep posting away, but perhaps don't say how you know the info. It won at 11/8 which is not great but a winner is a winner . There are very few people like you there in racing.

Right lads, I want you all to read what I have to say very very carefully. Thanks to the two of you, you have no drove a regular here away. He said he will no longer post tips here, why? Because you two slated him, and there was absolutely no reason for it. Healio posted a tip, and gave us the information that was given to him, and the horse won.

My brother-in-law owns a horse, which I have posted here in the past and I did not get slated like Healio did - and the horse lost! That was before the likes of iloveireland joined this forum - I'm uncertain if finnpark was here or not.

Finnpark, you should really keep opinions which suggest there is a chance of foulplay with a tip, to yourself. You are just speculating and cannot back it up. Healio did not have to post this tip, he did so out of kindness, and it won.

iloveireland, You only want 20/1 tips eh? Ok so, your argument is flawed, why? because I can say "anyone can post a 20/1 horse". You DO NOT have to take a tip that is posted. But if you slate people for posting tips which you believe are too short priced - you will be facing a ban from this forum.

Healio, I can understand if you do not want to post tips here anymore. But please, ignore these two. They've no idea what they are talking about. Cheers for the tip mate, I hope your father made a good bit from it :)

    I agree completely.

I personally think a short ban should be on the cards.
    It's just not on...

And if finnpark had bothered using the search function he might have been able to research a little better how Healio has always been honest and upfront with the posters here, and has easily been one of the top contributers to the forum.

any tips for today lads.i have always liked sunday racing.im on home jones in the 2:40 at newbury at 7/1.

Powerstation was a tip I posted here which won at 7/2.

Point Barrow is an old favourite of mine, but I won't be going with it today. I'll be going with Pearly Jack in the 2.40 at Navan, who has great sold decent form in it's last four starts. A New Story is certainly the one to beat in this race, and I expect Ruby to bring Monterey Bay close here. Pearly Jack is coming from a good hurdle run last week, which I think will have prepared the horse nicely for this race.

2.30 Wexford This is a smashing handicap chase, which really could be anyone's. I'm going with Mahdi De Coeur who really impressed me last time out with a favourite jockey of mine on board that day, C O' Dwyer. If he was on board again today, my bet would be significantly higher. He needs to improve somewhat to take this race today, I'm willing to accept that, and go with a small bet.

I would post more detailed analysis of these two selections but I don't have the time. Make your own decisions and best of luck.

Id say he did anyway, he owns the horse with two other people, one of which currently has the Gold Cup nestled on is mantle piece. I rarely if ever get told to back the horses, yesterday i was told to get on, so i was sharing the tip. They had a runner yesterday, FingerOnThePulse, it was also an impressive bumper winner last season. Finger was rated very highly by them, even higher than Beautiful Vision, however there opinion has changed. Today was a step up and he came through well, cheltenham is a long term target for him, but they will just have to see how he progresses through the season, the future looks bright.

I will continue to post tips if i get any, but id say most would prefer quality rather quantity. 11/8 may not be the best price for a tip in some peoples eyes fair enough thats an opinion.

Healio, an 11/8 winner is better than a 20/1 loser any day, mate. Some people just don't get that.

Well done on today's tip, and congratulations to your Dad. He certainly has a very promising prospect for the future in B Vision.

Well him and the other two.

I'll put it in terms quick and easy terms. Healio is a guy I have a lot of repect for, he's posted some excellent tips in the past and hopefully will continue to do so in the future.

Finnpark, I can only presume with it being Sunday that you were bored and wanted to say some silly things to pass the time away.

    Iloveireland, you're just silly.
