NTL picture freezing

Yesterday evening, my NTL service froze 3 times in about 90 minutes. I get a frozen picture and if I change channel I get a blank screen (still have menus etc). I had to reset the set-top-box each time.

This occasionally happens but it's rare enough that I never reported it. Is this a common issue or do I just have a dodgy STB?

Yeah its pretty common, well from what i've seen anyway.

Happens a bit to me aswell and ive seen it in other houses. If it gets really bad (like it did for me once) call em out and they should be able to do something.

have the same problem ove rthe last 24 hours myself.

Trying to watch a football match here now and the picture keeps freezing for a second very 20 seconds while the sound is ok.

    Total joke.

Is it just a decoder problem or a satellite one ?

Seems to have cured itself out of the blue for the 2nd match.

    Probably another NTL blunder
