    </ppp> :)

I emailed stars support on the off-chance that they would mail me stats of my STTs YTD (330), which i just received by mail.

I dont have excel on my home pc so can't really analyse the stats other than the totals they provided - amount played, total spent and total won. they are a mixture of $10/$20/$30/and a few $50, about 80% are $20.

I honestly didn't know what figure I wanted/expected to see but here is is:

    330 STTs - entry $7150 , rake $710, return $9800 - profit $1940

    ROI 24.68%

just looking for opionions as to whether this is a decent ROI for 9 seater STTs? obviously an ITM% would be helpful too but no way of working that out yet.

(i would also like a stat of what % i was drunk/tired for but they have to count too)

I've been going back to cash games again recently and doing well, just wanted to check these stats before playing any more.

    opinions pweese.

    According to 2+2
What are attainable stats at the different levels?

In this thread, one poster comments on many things, including attainable stats for the various buyins. More than that, there is quite a bit of posting later in that thread about what are attainable and realistic ROI’s for the higher stakes Party SNGs. A summary for a "good player" the following ROis are good, while 4 tabling:

    11s - 25% ROI
    20s - 20% ROI
    33s - 16% ROI
    55s - 13% ROI
    109s - 10% ROI
    215s - 7% ROI

Higher ROIs are attainable at every one of these levels, HOWEVER if you can achieve the above ROI's you are capable of making a good living at poker, especially if you can do so playing 8 at once.

Anyone who can acheive the above ROI's, while playing many tables at once, is a "good" player. They might not be great and may still have plenty of weaknesses, but they are definitely very good at what they do.

In short, if your ROI is higher than the above numbers, you are doing something right and should be relatively satisfied with your play. You may still have plenty of room to improve but you are definitely on the right track.

(thanks for the above to curtains.)

Basically, as you move up your ITM shouldn’t decrease very much, but your ROI will. If you’re making money though, you’re making money. Just don’t get overconfident with a small sample size. See the “what do you think of my stats?” section.

Looks like you're doing pretty good.

It's interesting that your ROI should be highest at the lowest level where you will be playing more idiots.

Over 1,000 STTs at the $25 level my ROI is 17.35% ~ Despite being negative for my last 150 STTs, so I would say that your ROI is pretty impressive

I have a ROI of about 23% in about 600 $50 10 player STTs on Party which I think is pretty good. What % are you finishing ITM Karl? According to poker prophecy anything over 39% is rated as "Pro". I think a return of 2K from that many STTs that are mostly $20 buy in is really good.

Inspired by this thread, just calculated my ROI % for the first 250 STTs I played since beginning to keep track in March (I'm on STT number 285 for the year at the moment, don't play 1/2 as much as most of you I'm sure).

    Entry + rake: $4,542.25
    Profit: $1,153.15
    ROI: 25.4%

I play mostly $12+$1 or $35+$3 6-handed or $20+$2 or $30+$3 9-handed tables. Fairly happy with my ROI.

Now for the bit to appease Des - in the same space of time, my MTT column registers a loss of $1,074! I wasted my STT profits on MTTs, particularly during the WSOP super satellite season. I finally cut out the MTTs a few months ago, now I might play one every three weeks. But I was very foolish with my bankroll...:(

    1st place - 55 times or 16.4%
    2nd place - 49 times or 14.6%
    3rd place - 45 times or 13.4%

    ITM - 44.3% (149/336)

    :v: wh00t!

    goodbye PPP!
