iTunes Sharing Problem

    Hi,

I have searched the boards but still cant find an answer to the problem.

I have a PC and a laptop on my home network. Both have iTunes 6.0 and my music is stored on the PC. I have sharing enabled on both and the correct firewall settings on both for iTunes and Bonjour but the laptop still can not see the music on my PC.

    Any help much appreciated.

By "sharing enabled on both", I presume you mean you have the folder the music is in shared? Or at least the drive the folder is on?

No, sorry I have 'sharing' enabled and 'search for shared music' enabled in the Sharing section of iTunes preferences.

I have also the Music folder of the PC set up for sharing.

Edit: Had a look at the itunes forums and it seems a lot of people have this problem. Seems to be with iTunes 5.0 and after. Have installed myTunes Redux and this can see the library no problem.
