I almost forgot about that game, 'twas very good and it preceeded worms as far as I know. I downloaded it there and it looks like 'scorch' should do the trick alright. I'd say that the problem lies with the weird way later MSDOS applications accessed high-mem and other such nonsense so dosbox may need to be reconfigured. I'll try dosbox later and let you know how I get on.

update: worked fine without having to change any settings. Have you mounted the drive at the correct folder? You have to tell dosbox where the scorched earth folder is. I did this by copying the unzipped scorched earth folder to a folder on the C drive called 'dosgames' which I created. Then I told dosbox to call this folder 'C:' by using the command: 'mount c c:\dosgames'
next type 'c:' to change to the dosgames folder and enter 'dir' to display the contents and as 'scorch.exe' is there you can type 'scorch' (or 'scorch.exe') to load the game.
Let me know where you are stuck and I may be able to help.
