    Hi

Just wondering if anyone has gotten PE5 on psp.

Is it easy to control. Its just i read on a preview its a wee bit more difficult then other versions due to the psps control layout.

I see on the argos website its only 44.99 just wondering is it worth getting?

It's a decent game of football - probably the best you'll get in a handheld. I've actually found it easier to score goals in than the Xbox version, but there is no Master League and more unforgivable - no cup competitions.

Just leagues - custom, national and international. Gutted that there's no World Cup.

just bought it a while ago - left thumb is in agony!
It is a little awkward to control what with the layout of the buttons.

Graphics are quite nice but very slow loading times. Also a tiny bit of slow down at times such as when the box is crowded.

Still, doesnt seem too bad though

Yep, Gamesmaster reviewed it in this months issue and gave it 80%. They said it's basically PES on the PS2 with half the framerate, some visual ghosting, a dodgier camera angle (too close in comparison with the default view on PS2) and the graphics are a bit less detailed. Gamesmaster did say that it's still the best football experience to be had on the PSP but not as good as the PS2 version.

I'd have to agree with Joe here.I can barely play a full game without left thumb soreness as the analogue stick is positioned very poorly imho.

I have similar control probs when playing GTA, after while of quick action it just gets too hard to control... Also controls get slippy after while

I bought it for 55€ in GAME, the day it came out. Obviously no Master League, Cup, Commentary is a downer. But it is the best soccer game you will get on the PSP. I played Fifa and it sucks. I havent played World Tour Soccer, but we all know Fifa/Pes are the giants so if you want a game to play on journeys, get it. I enjoy the leagues on it. PSP/PS2 data link means you can get all the real kits copied over in seconds if you have them on your PS2.
I'd imagine multiplayer is good, but my friend has FIFA and won't be buying PES. OVerall a good game, but not one to play at home if you have it on PS2, but ideal for journeys.
