Personal Issues aside - It is a very watchable programme.

She has a no nonsense sytle and very often the show has some of dumb people.

I like Judge Judy too!

Some of her decisions are very wrong, but in general it's nice to watch petty people arguing over $60. Only in America!!

And the copycat shows pails in comparison. But besides the obvious entertainment factor in the show, it is also a microcosm of society in America. Not of America as a whole, but a sizeable chunk of it. (Which is kind of sad).
