    Wax off...

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Actor Pat Morita, whose portrayal of the wise and dry-witted Mr. Miyagi in "The Karate Kid" earned him an Oscar nomination, has died. He was 73.

Morita died Thursday at his home in Las Vegas of natural causes, said his wife of 12 years, Evelyn. She said in a statement that her husband, who first rose to fame with a role on "Happy Days," had "dedicated his entire life to acting and comedy."

Daniel-san, must talk. Man walk on road. Walk left side, safe. Walk right side, safe. Walk down middle, sooner or later, get squished.

Karate Kid was one of my favourite movies and this man is a legend.

    Question though...

    Did he do anything else?

although im glad i didnt see this movie, http://imdb.com/title/tt0087795/ , it probably would have completely ruined my image of the kar-ate master (although learning that he didnt know karate did shake the foundatdions a bit)
