sound card problem

    heya. havin a problem wit my sound card. jus have 2 speakers connected to it. but only sound comes out of one of them, think it might be damaged somehow, i reinstalled it 3 times but still the same problem. the mic dosent work on it either...any suggestions?

    On the bottom right of your screen, near the clock, double click on the speaker icon. For Voume control mave sure that the balance switch is in the center. To use a mic, make sure that the mute box is de-selected.

    Try plugging a pair of head phones into the output of the sound card. If you get sound in both ears then your speakers are broken. If you only get mono then your sound card is at fault.
