Congratulations 'The Snapper'

After months of beats The Snapper made it all the way in the Drogheda Tournament last night and took down the top prize of €1750 plus a ticket to the €250 game. It was a family affair as son Stephen finished 6th, however he made a wee mistake which I am sure Brendan has not stopped reminding him of that cost him at least one place.

The cold weather certainly doesn't stop poker players. Some of the Monaghan game regulars still made the trip despite the snow however the Dundealgans were conspicable by their absence.

The money was not for staying in the 75 players pockets either as they managed 102 re-buys between them and another 72 top-ups!

I think the Drogheda tourney is great fun, and the prize fund is always great.
3rd last week paid €800:D , which is as much as the winning the €50 double chance in the fitz.
