The clue is in the URL - DNS error. For whatever reason, Eircom was unable to resolve loginnet.passport.com to an IP address. I'd guess your browser is configured to use Eircom's proxy server and the proxy threw that page back when it couldn't resolve the name.

Disable the proxy setting in your browser and see if the sites work direct.
