    this rising fear into

    it feels like nails pulling out
    scarred cuticles and picked skin
    and a head so full and devout
    that these lies are scaring me

    seen through split fingers
    so grainy, off white

    makes me think of sin city. take that as a compliment cos i loved that flick. i guess that has a lot to do with the title too though. a dark poem that doesnt reek of teenage angst is also a rare thing on here i feel. good work
