    Is there any way i can get more channels from my aerial in my bedroom? its fairly old but is crystal clear for the usual 4, a room away sky one, e4, etc can be picked up, why is this and can i get em?

    cable leakage ?

    The Dublin cable network is notoriously leaky With the Band 1 (low band) channels and FM radio being particulrly prone

    lol, im pretty novice, but i guess that means that an aerial will pick some channels up if its near enough to a cable outlet/box, is that it?:confused:
    do you know if channel 6 will broadcast terrestrial?

    Not analogue terrestrial, anyway...

    If the box or associated cabling is sufficently leaky* yes

    * It shouldnt be but often is

    Channel 6 are very likely to appear on analouge terrestrial but It might make an appearance on your TV courtesy of that leaky cable :D
