    AGITATED RADIO PILOT
    Website: http://www.desertedvillage.com

Having spent over a decade making cassette only releases, at the first sign of frost marks the first cdr release by Irish musician david colohan in his Agitate Radio Pilot guise. Recorded in Ballymahon, a semi deserted village in Co. Longford, during 1997, At the first sign of frost was ARP's first full band recording. Recorded on a minimal budget, directly onto four track, each of the 17 tracks reverberate with a stark sadness and melancholic warmth, notably, "Cut Adrift(a way into out there) and "Our Hollow Sound." Having heard the recordings in 1998, 'Cut Adrift had such an effect on Shrimper label boss Denni Callaci that he wrote to ARP asking to release the entire album on his label. In typical fashion, the pilot freaked out and never contacted him again.

Sporadic gigs around Ireland have maintained ARP's musical momentum over the last few ears, including a memorable gig with the 4AD band The Mountain Goats, and a series of headline gigs in and around the West coast of Ireland.

While the pilot continues as a recording and performing entity, Colohan has over the last year branched out to record under a variety of different monikers, an a ange of labels…

    Free improv collective Murmansk
Australiana band Holt -( 80 mile beach truenote006)
Psychedlic folk of UBS - (seasons of the sun, transits of the moon, deserted village)
Conventional folk of Magickal Folk of the Faraway Tree (deserted village)
Coil esque ruminations of Children of the Stones (deserted village)
Pop rock of Towns Park Foundry (deserted village)
Team Discovery Channel Pseudo Arcana NZ label release.

    Trails
    Website: www.trailsmusic.com

Trails are a relatively new instrumental three piece from Wicklow who make melodic music while experimenting with noises, loops, drones and math rock.

"Instrumental post rock with a hint of Can, Neu and early Stereolab"
    Road Records

"TRAILS utilise loops and samples and other sounds and are not averse to crashing into your reverie with a blast of punk/metal and jazz noise...
...In LCD terms it's a psychedelic explosion of The Floyd v. Tortoise v. Loop v. Wilco v. Your Preconceptions About Music and I for one love it to bits. "

Neilo (Lazybird) & Monty (SW) DJing all night
"Art Rocking Music to Dance to....
Music from the Post-Punk, No/New wave, Krautrock eras and everything it has inspired and influenced since..."
