I don't suppose there is any make of some sort of warm toilet seat (seriously)?
Failing that, are wooden toliet seats warmer than the plastic type?
Or is there some sort of cover you can buy for the seat itself (not just the lid) - if so where can these be bought?

    thanks in advance

I recently replaced my 3 toilet sets with the cheapest wooden ones Argos sells.
(around €14 each) They seem a slightly warmer than the old white plastic ones.
But it'll also depend on the warmth of your house too!

But if you want to play it cheap... then just wait until someone else warms the seat up first :-)

Or, if you don't like the look of wooden toilet seats like me (reminds me of old, grotty public loos :( ), then many of the white wooden seats available are actually made of some kind of MDF type material with a tough painted exterior. Look nicer in my opinion, and are just as warm as the wooden ones. Mine are made by a company called Bemis, and I got them from B&Q.
