    Hey there,

Can anyone tell me how this setup will run new hi-spec games such as Doom3 Call of Duty 2 etc.

    AMD Athlon64 3500+ So.939

    ASRock 939 S56-M PCI-E Motherboard

    ASUS GeForce 6200 PCI-E TV-out & DVI

    200GB Maxtor HD 7200rpm/8MB cache

    1024MB DDRAM 400MHz VT

    NEC 3540A 16x Multi DL DVD-RW

    Thanks

I think your graphics card lets the rest of the spec down tbh.
I'd seriously consider splashing out on something better.

GeForce 6600, or ATi Radeon X700 Pro at the least.
How much you willing to spend?

Yeah the radeon x800Gt02 looks really good, especially when overclocked. I think I'll probably go with that, thanks for the advice!

yeh ,whats you're budget for a graphics card?
That x800 gt mentioned above could be a good bet..but if you're willing to spend a bit more there's better choices

    Opetron 144 instead of the 3500. The X800GTO. I'm not a maxtor fan :)

The motherboard isnt fantastic either, pretty much a nono if you want to overclock :)

That motherboard is pretty poor, unless you want to do a few hardware mods involving soldering irons and such to improve it's overclocking abilities.

My budget for a graphics card is about 250 euro

X800GTO2 from overclockers.co.uk seems to be the best card around for that money. Very very high success rate with flashing to X800XL, then overclocking up towards the X850XT.

MSI make savage boards at good prices if you are looking to save some pennies. Some of my fav boards have been MSI's to be honest.
