    Hello!

Please could you help me?

I'm trying to travel from Belfast International Airport to Ballybofey. I can't find any websites giving train or bus timetables - I don't think that Ballybofey has a train station, and I can't find out which is the nearest station to it. I would be very grateful for any advice / websites about how to get from Belfast International to Ballybofey (and back again) in mid-December.

    Thank you very much! :)

There is no train link, possibly might be worth investigating Airport to Derry on ulsterbus and derry to ballybofey with ulsterbus or buseireann, May have to go via letterkenny also

About 2.5 hours to londonderry with ulsterbus and about one hour with buseireann. Both companies have online journey planners www.buseireann.ie www.ulsterbus.co.uk

Your best if you have to travel from Belfast to Ballybofey using public transport is via Derry as suggested above.
You could also look into the possibility of getting a flight directly to City of Derry Airport - depends where you're flying from.
    Have a look here http://www.cityofderryairport.com/

There used to be a train link from Belfast to Derry but I think it is now gone

There's a bus called the "Airporter" that runs from Belfast International airport to Derry. From Derry, you can get Bus Eireann to Ballybofey, or a Swilly Bus to Letterkenny and a local one from there.

    http://www.airporter.co.uk/
    http://www.buseireann.ie

If none of the airporter times suit, Translink offer an hourly Belfast->Derry service (on the half hour AFAIK), and the connection bus from the Airport to Belfast bus station runs every 20 mins, with a journey time of about 45 mins.

Its also worth knowing that theres a direct Belfast->Letterkenny service that operates at 5:30pm every evening from outside Jurys Inn in Belfast.
