hey there, been thinking about a new bass recently, and seeing as how Ive been playing a four stringer for all my time of playing bass, thought that it would be a good idea to get a 5-er.kinda started when i was called up to play a song with my band in a pub, there was already a band playin and we're friends,so they let us play two songs.thing is i had to use a 5 string, and i seriously had no idea what was goin on!it took me ages to get used to it and even then it was kinda tough! I was thinking along the lines of an Ibanez,Ive heard great stuff about them.Im mainly a metal/rock player, playin an esp B50 at the mo,and was wondering would any of ye have any recommendations?thanks in advance

There's a BTB 405 in FS Instruments which should fit the bill, it's down a few pages but I don't htink it'd been sold yet.

Have a look at Ibanez's website and see if there is a model on there that takes your fancy. Then go to Thomann or guitarbargains.com (both Ibanez suppliers) and see how much they charge for it. Have a look at Yamaha basses too (also available on Thomann).
