    JESUS.

Bands could have the courtesy of spacing out their gigs so I can afford them all.

(In seriousness this is deadly news)

Anyone else reckon it'll be moved? They'll sell that out pretty quickly.

The support band Doctor Dog aren't bad either

Also, Broken Social Scene are playing there the week after, that's gonna be class too.

Yes the hype machine is churning a new one out every 5 minutes. I bought a tickets for this as soon as they went on sale but i've read some bad live reviews. Gonna be in Dublin for Belle and Sebastian so I decided i might as well try to catch some new music for a change while i'm there. I''ve never been in Crawdaddy, whats that venue like?

What did you think of the gig sat night?
I enjoyed it, they played a lot of new stuff though. The village isnt the best venue, we were down the back and youd nearly forget your at a gig at all, but the support act and clap your hands came down to the t shirt stand so we got to have a laugh with them so that was cool.

    Anyone else at it?

I was there yeah, thought they were pretty good. It was ridiculously short though, they only played 10-12 songs. They finished it all with Neil Young's "Helpless" though so all was forgiven.

The Village is weird alright, what's the story with the upward slope?

i saw them in belfast on the friday night and i wasn't too impressed. Thats not to say they were sh*te but the hype wasn't justified

i saw them in the village. agree about the venue and i didn't like the bouncers on front of the stage. i thought the band were good, singer looked pretty bored but the others (for the most part) seemed to be enjoying themselves. i was talking to a couple of them after and they were really nice. i never knew upstairs in the village turned into a club (olympic village), didn't like the crowd that was there after the gig. it was weird downstairs too - no one was dancing!

yeah you can say that again, actually security are the big downside of going to gigs in any venue in Dublin, where do they find these guys?
