 wot happened to Openness ???

Anyway "here i go again on my own" (name that tune ?)... (maybe this should be in a blog here????) your comments welcomed.

    Today's Papal message is:

Pope's Msg 23/11/2005: God has won. Love has won. It has won life. Love has shown that it is stronger than death.

Says something to me.... say anything to you ?

.. that God possesses the true strength and that his strength is goodness and love ?

It says to me: The Vatican are coming up with their own version of fortune cookies..

What on earth does the message mean. What it is it refering to, sound like a fortune cookie to me too

Not that I'd want to be seen picking faults with Der Panzerpope -- yikes! -- but the good man is in disagreement with the Song of Songs 8:6:
Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.
This particular fortune cookie was set to thoroughly enjoyable music by William Walton, in case anybody's interested.

Rather than being in disagreement the uberman seems to be enlightened.

Remember he is living in the AD and the NEW TESTAMENT is all about "THE POWER OF LOVE"

    name that tune ;-)
