Recommend a restaurant in Rathfarnham area?

    Hi,

    I am taking my sister in law out to dinner next week. She lives in Rathfarnham so I would like to eat somewhere around there. I am not very familiar with the area and I don't want to ask her as its supposed to be a surprise.

    Can anyone recommend a place please?

    Not really familiar with Rathfarnham but if you want to drive 5 mins up the road theres a nice place in Terenure called Sayers... Quite small and quiet if thas what your looking for and the food is great..

    Chrysanthanum Chinese beside the Orchard pub in Rathfarnham is about the best chinese restaurant around.
