Its nearly that time of the month again, so come down and soak up some of the patented Future Shorts atmosphere this sunday coming.

Heres some of the visual treats on offer:

    Changes
‘Changes’ is the Nokia/Darklight award winning animation from Lorcan Finnegan at Lovely Productions. It penetrates the bittersweet nostalgic memory of unrequited love featuring two caterpillars and a dodgy Mexican. An innovative theatrical animation – poignancy with a good dollop of humour…

    My Wrongs #8245-8249 & 117'
A delightful departure into the devilishly demented mind of Chris Morris...The harassed and harangued Paddy Considine interacts with talking dogs and talking babies over the meandering course of his day.

    Bicycle Gangs of New York
Imagine the Mad Hatters Tea Party. Now imagine it on wheels. Add a sprinkling of 80’s prom dresses, a smattering of tricks and some Penny Farthings and voila – the Bicycle Gangs of New York. This is renowned New York documentary maker Cheryl Dunn’s observation of the bicycle subcultures of New York.

The Boy with the Ever Open Jaw
'The Boy with the Ever Open Jaw lives a happy and uneventful life. Then he meets The Most Beautiful Girl in the World and nothing is ever the same again. We follow his journey, from the mountains to the sea, trying to cure his broken heart. Eventually, he meets someone willing to help him-but is it worth it? From Irish directors Maeve Clancy and Jamie Hannigan comes a sweet reflection on the perilous pursuit of happiness.

    Merci
A tram explodes in mirth as its passengers engage in a hysterical, contagious laughter. By French director Christine Babette.

    Lump
From Cork director Ed Gosell, Lump is the surreal story of a wino preoccupied with a growing lump on his side. Full of Cronenberg and David Lynch overtures, this is a visceral and gritty sci-fi horror.

The Most Beautiful Man in the World
A beautifully shot, Lolita infused dreamscape, featuring a girl, a dog, a mother and a topless man. Girl and Man meet in a suspended moment on a hot, aimless day. The blossoming of sexual awakening or the provocation of sinister ambitions? This is an award-winning feature from UK director Alicia Duffy.

Music this month is from Lakker with more to be confirmed...
