Not sure if this is the right forum as Im only a newbie but I just wanted to share an experience with you jazz lovers, I went into easons the other day and asked the lady behind the counter if she could recommend any good jazz mags and she pointed to the top shelf where the filth was.Am I missing something? I wasnt brought up to associate jazz with scantily clad women...

Hahahahh! Well either she misunderstood you, or she's more informed about the history and roots of jazz than you might think!

Im ashamed to go and ask for a jazz mag now in my local newsagent for fear of being handed Irish housewives ! TOTR !

That's hilarious but quite upsetting also. Jazz yet again is misunderstood... :D

Speaking of jazz mags (musical variety) is Downbeat still going today? I never see it on the shelf in Tower but they have Jazzwise etc.
