In reconigition of the solid imput from some of the boardsters that has contributed to the current design and structure of our events, a genuine thanks and fair play to those who supported and gave positive advise/opinions etc.
I would like to offer a package on behalf of pokerevents to the winter festival in Galway on the 21st Dec, which would include ticket to the 300freezeout and accomodation for two in the the four star westwood where the event is being held.
I would like Musician,Lafortazza, Devore and the other moderators decide on how this prize will be awarded. (if it 's a tournament i'd like to play and win my own package back)

Well done on the award. Some of those early threads about Pokerevents got fairly heated if I remember correctly.

Very kind of you to offer the package to the Galway event, maybe we could have it as a prize in a charity tournament for Santa's Strike Force

Thats a cracker of an idea Luke. And a cracker of a gift.

As one of the people who made "input", generally in the shape of a size 9, I must say that the tournaments have turned 180 degrees and are very well run now. Fair play!

    DeV.

Congrats, and what a nice gesture. As said above you came on here and took alot of suggestions on board and you have well run tournaments now.It did get abit heated in some of the early days such as when a few of us reported on the now infamous "double chance or not thread",but it has all worked out for you now and you have to be commended on that.

Who would have taught way back in the early days of the Red Cow and Galway that Pokerevents would have got so big.

This should be noted by other insurgent's/tournament organizers we have lurking on the poker forum. If you listen to the poker playing public chances are in the long run you will have a successful we run and well attended event.
