Profile problem

    Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.



    anyone any idea? lets me in but nothing on desktop ect and same error each time i boot up

    Log in as administrator, create a new account and see if you can copy your old one across to it, by going to System Properties->Advanced->User Profiles (Settings button) and copying your profile name to the new one. Then delete the old profile, rename the new one to the same, and work away as usual.

    cheers aidan, just did something similiar, any way to find out where my bookmark file is saved?

    ie, think i have it, i found all my desktop items and faves, deleting old profile now i have everything moved accross, fingers crossed!
