    Hi there,

I am looking to purchase a headset for my skype, Can anyone recommend a good, not too expensive set? I have my PC hooked up to my stereo and I also have a mic but it does not seem to work? So I am going to purchase one but am not sure which one to buy?

    Thanks in advance,

    Brian

I work for a voice recognition / VoIP company, we all use Plantronics headsets that we're pretty happy with, and not too expensive:

On the move wih laptop I use a headset that came with vioce recognition software and works fine. You can buy headsets for very reasonable money nowadays. Check out Maplins and Argos.

At home I use a skype phone that I bought in Maplins for about 50 euro.

suggest you get a USB one if you want to continue using your speakers/sound card for other applications.
