    Sainsbury's Alba DVD recorder €116.47 (£79.99) :)

    Argos Dublin cheapest is €149.99 :mad:

    Argos are doing a special on their DVD recorders at the moment, signs all over the Pavilions shop. I can't remember the specifics, but they stick in my mind as being very cheap for Eire.

    Might be worth looking into before trekking up to newry.

    I bought a DVD recorder in Asda in Strabane last week. "Cyber Home" is the badge on it but its anyones guess as to actually makes it.
    £68.94 was the sterling price. What it cost me was 100 euro and two £1 sterling coins. Not a bad price.
    I have it up and running and as they say down on the farm - "shes flying like ****e off a shovel"

    yeah i thought that too, but opinions here don't seem too bad, and sure aren't they just one of any number of rebadging companies and shouldn't be too much different to any of the rest at that price point :/

    How much on top of that for shipping? might not work out cheap at all especially if it went on the blink and you had to return it.
