snaps? maxpackets?

    Can anyone please explain how should I have them set up and what does setting each to some value do good for me?

    snaps I have at 20
    maxpackets at 60
    and rate at 25000

    It all depends on your connection.
    Basically, rate is the rate at which you download the server, maxpackets is the number of packets you upload to the server, and snaps is the number of updates you receive from the server. So if you have lots of downstream bandwidth, use a big rate (25000 is big), lots of upstream bandwidth, use high maxpackets too (if you're on broadband you can probably go higher than maxpackets 60, to make the game smoother, dont know because I haven't played much CoD). Snaps is kind of unusual, I don't know if CoD2 netcode has changed much from q3, but if not then snaps 20 will do you fine on 95% of the servers, but it might be better to use snaps 30 just in the event that the server is using sv_fps 25 or 30 - an experienced CoDder can give you a better idea of what the story is with this.
