Anyone know any places in cork or online that sell second hand ski gear(as in pants and jacket) at a decent price?

    Where are you going?

I was in Stanzach in Austria, what an amazing experience. Talking about experience DON'T buuy here. You'll get ripped off. All these ski resorts sell cheap gear due to competition. I bought gear new that was cheaper than the rented!

I am reliably informed that Aldi do the full range of ski gear at knock-down prices for new gear on 27 December every year. Make sure you are there at 9.00am as they sell out very fast (i.e. in less than 30 mins)

If you can make it to Tralee, TK Max at the Manor West complex have a big range of ski gear - big discounts on good brand names. Might be worth a spin and checking it out.

I got stuff in the Arnots January sale 2 years ago, some good deals there.

Myself & my girlfriend bought all of our gear from TK Max - Blanchardstown & Stevens Green. Everything you could want at every price range you want. Unknown brand names for lower cost but Quiksilver snowboard jackets from €80 & ski pants from €60 - pretty sweet selection! Saloman ski socks about €7 off memory. Always check the bargain section first, there are usually a pair of ski pants lurking in there at a ridiculously low price!
