keyboard mouse help !!

in the middle of putting Media CE onto a pc. USB mouse and keyboard connected. half way thru setup - the mouse and keyboard have no function - and I need them to hit "ok" to a prompt. even tried a ps2 keyboard (restarted pc) to no avail. is there a bios setting that allows the usb keyb & mouse to work properly. I am stuck…

edit -- looks like there is no power to the keyb mouse during setup ???

can you enter the BIOS by pressing the appropriate key on the keyboard..?
