Changing the keyboard Layout

Hi, just wondering is it possible to change the Keyboard layout of a german layout style to Englsih Style. If not I was thinking if this is possible, to take off the keys on another keyboard and take out the pads under that and put it into the German laptop, would that work....

Laptop keys are def.... I just chance the z and y around... the other ones can be annoying at times but its getoverable....I got onto Asus uk they said they wouldnt be able to supply me with keys..

alright cheers, ya no the way to can change the language aswell, in the control panel does that change the whole os coz its in german, like id understand alright but i want it in english

You need to install a ENglish Version of windows in order to have an english windows...

but wont i loose all the programs like ms office that they gave me....

Yeah ya because your going to have to do a full install of Windows Xp english...Is the Microsoft office they gave you not in German also?

havnet got it yet, just ordered it, only got it because it was cheap for the specs it had. good laptop though......ah rite, fair enough, thats for the help Dan

Well if you ordered it all the software will be in German... I just borrow and English copy of Xp and used the key that came with my Laptop Problem Solved...
