Yeah it's a good spot, always FULL of Irish. Direct flights from a lot of Irish airports, flights are more expensive on the weekends Liverpool are at home.

Stay in the Radisson on Old Hall Street for a nice hotel or any of the Travel Lodges, or the Holiday Inn Express on the docks for good value. Cheapest option would be to go for the F1 hotel.

Matthew Street for your auld granny type slappers.

Concert Sq for a bit of a classier slapper.

check out http://www.www.chibuku.com/dates.php?location=0 if your into a good club night.

I remember that place on the night of the champions league final. There must have been 20,000 people there. Up the trees, statues, hanging from windows...great place. Full of students looking to pay their rent.
