Any suggestions as to where to buy mini DV tapes cheaply would be gratefully received. Also, is there much difference in terms of quality between different brands? I don't want degradation but I don't want to pay huge money if there is little difference between them :D Thanks in advance

about quality. what i read couple of years ago. different brands make tapes on different base. all what i know about it - that is bad if you will mix them. e.g. sony has "liquid" base and panasonic has "hard". if you have sony tapes in your collection better stay with them. otherwise camcoder head will be damaged sooner.
