Do you ever just feel like you physically can't leave the chair....

So I got home after a few drinks around eight. Played about a half hour of games, then tiredness got the better of me, I resigned from the game and decided to browse boards for a few short moments before going to bed.

Yet here I am, about two hours later, wide awake, and roaming boards randomly, scouring every forum for something to catch my interest, even logging out to view threads in forums I'm banned from (games, entire category).

It's just like pringles lately, I can't stop browsing and the more I do it, the less I seem to realise I'm actually doing it if you know what I mean.

Not that I eat pringles all the time without realising I'm eating them....you know what I mean though. :v:

Seriously though it's like every moment I'm not doing something else I'm slouched in front of the PC reading boards. How did it come to this? I was banned for three weeks sitewide, I kinda got used to not posting, and I thought....well, after this, I'm not really going to post as must as I used to....

It's not the worst to be honest, but it's possibly the biggest addiction I've ever faced. I honestly don't know what I'd so without boards. I've joined a few other forums but have about 200 posts between them. They just aren't the same....

How did everyone else discover boards? I discovered it - surprise surprise - when one day I was in college browsing the internet and somehow stumbled across a link for boards in relation to Quake...Ever since that day, I ditched - shamefully - about 80% of my lectures. Oh, the stares people gave me, as they saw me sit at the same computer from - literally in some cases - 9am to 5pm without any break....browsing boards.

Come Sunday night I'll try go to bed early so as I can be up and be in college by 9:00. In reality I will do as you described untill about maybe 2:00.

Mobile.. you're complaining at quarter to twelve. It's now half four and I'm still sitting here. I feel you're pain.

Although in honesty, I'm more like that CwAzY one there.. I've only been out of bed for a few hours.. got some work to do now and hopfully get my sleeping patern back in shape for Monday. It's handier at this time actually (to get work done that is) -- less to distract you about these parts.

Although on another forum I have 8,000 posts, but that's since Dec '02, and it's the third biggest board site on the internet. I'm sure a few of you are members/have browsed through them

thank god i dont have my own computer, so i either use college one (free ) or my housemates (free )
