Can anybody suggest a reliable website that reviews books?

Might sound obvious but books on amazon usually have dozens of reviews. You can always get a feel for whether a book was enjoyed or not. Always good to hear what the punters think and not a tired critic.

Careful about spoilers though some spanners give things away.

Yeah, Amazon is good. Some people are over-negative on there and others sound like they don't have the ability to be critical but if the book your looking for has several reviews you can usually get a feel for it. Some books have no reviews unfortunately but if it's not reviewed on amazon then you might find it hard to find it reviewed elsewhere (maybe try popping onto the american version of the site, I haven't tried this...)
