    I'm stumped on this.
It's a new build. PC has motherboard, but I need to install an AGP graphics card.
The instructions say to ensure the PC is working OK first in VGA, and it needs disk space to install.
And I can't install the OS because I can't plug the monitor in yet!
It's XP home I want to install, so I don't think I can install on another PC and then bring it over.
Can anyone help me to figure this one out?

    thanks

    Amby

Of course you can plug in the monitor. Install the card as in press it into the appropriate slot om the MB and screw to case. Switch on the machine and you will get a picture.

Reboot the machine with the OS CD in the drive.

Then you install the OS and after that you install the drivers that came with the card.
