    i have a hdtv but dont hav a component hd conection on my tv. i have a dvi hd connection and a dvi to component cable but the component connection is a male connection. do i need to buy another converter or cable to connect the xbox 360 to my tv in hd.

    I'm in the same boat dor ... as i understand, the connectors in question are RCA male AV connectors. I bought some female-female RCA audio couplers on ebay which i think will do the job - the 3way one was £1 plus delivery from the UK (€4 delivered). I also need a 2 RCA female to 3.5mm stereo jack male to go into my telly as it does not have 2.1 or optical audio inputs (but the surround sound system on the way :D ) also €4 delivered from the same shop on ebay. i can furnish links if you want, but as to whether it'll work or not is based on some guesswork from my end.
