looking for quick reliable jammer

Just had a 93 Mazda 323F 1.6i written off and am looking to get something with similiar performance at a decent price, less than 3k, 4k max, any ideas- preferably not too bad on juice but may compromise- was thinking of a 96-98 Mazda Zedos 2l VL? Really looking for ideas so would appreciate any first hand advice.

Not too many Xedos 6 models about the place.

Here is the newer Mazda 323F, it is just outside your budget but it does look in very good condition.

I had one of these a good couple of years ago and in 2.0 litre form they were very lively and I put 100k miles on it without any issues, not even a rattle or creak from it. The 1.8 version is ok but the 2.0 is better and almost as economical. Alot of car for very little money imo.
